Laughter.

I love laughter.
Here is a cute picture of my nephew laughing. Doesn't this make your heart happy?

This is my family. I love them so much.

Precious.

My brother and his wife. :) They were laughing at their rehearsal. So fun!

My in-laws. Aren't they precious? They just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Congrats you guys!
This boy makes my heart smile. SO CUTE. His laughter makes me smile so big.

Last but not least- a picture of my sweet husband and I. He can make me laugh like no one else does. I am head over heels in love with this guy.

Doesn't laughter make you feel good? It can brighten your day. It can make a sad day happy.

Psalm 126:2
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them".

Boston with the Klopps!

About two weeks ago, Mark and I met the Klopp family in Boston. It was a BLAST! It was great to see my Aunt and Uncle and cousins.
They took us to a sweet Italian restaurant where the food was delicious. Yum, yum. It made me want to go back to Italy...
Then we went to Mike's Pastry and got delicious desserts.
We had so much fun with you guys! Thanks for inviting us to come down!!
I love my cousins. :) My cousins very graciously gave up their bed for the night and let us sleep in it. They had to sleep on the floor. We felt so special!
I love my husband too.

Here we are by a Paul Revere statue... I think my muscles are bigger than Marks. ;)
My husband loves skyline pictures. I try to take them whenever I can!
We had an incredible time in Boston with my family! Thank you so much for letting us come and crash your party. Love you guys!

Ambassador for Christ

2  Corinthians 5:20
We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us.

I have been reading It's Not About Me by Max Lucado. It is an incredible book and really challenged me on so many issues. This life I live is not about me. It isn't about finding friends or fitting in. It isn't about buying a nice car or having a huge tv. It isn't about buying a house or going out to eat as much as possible. Those things in and of themselves aren't bad, but they aren't the purpose of life. They hold no meaning or value. As a follower of Christ, I have one purpose on earth- to display the Lord's glory.

Psalm 115:1
Not to us, O Lord not to us but to your name be the glory.

1 Corinthians 10:31
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do  it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 8:6 (NLT)
There is only one God, the Father, who created everything and we exist for Him.

An ambassador is one whose sole purpose is to promote the King. This is my prayer for me and my life. That no matter what happens in my life, that I may promote my King and that He may be wholly glorified.

Camping Part 2

Mark and I went camping a few weeks ago in White Lake State Park in New Hampshire. It was beautiful and so fun. You can read about it here

The next day we went exploring in New Hampshire and went to hike around some waterfalls. I absolutely love waterfalls.

Here are Richard and Mark flexing. Don't you think Mark has bigger muscles?? ;)
 Beautiful.

 I love my husband.
 :)

I think God is an incredible Creator. These waterfalls are beautiful and I loved just sitting there and listening to the sound of the rushing water hitting the rocks. I can't help but praise the One who made this possible.

Camping part 1

Mark and I went camping last weekend in New Hampshire. This time it was perfect. We had cool weather, yummy food, good company, we set up our camp in the daylight, and it didn't rain! It was beautiful and we loved it.

I love my husband.

Gorgeous sunset in White Lake State Park in New Hampshire.

My husband has this rule about no shoes in the tent... we have to keep the dirt out. He cracks me up. I don't really follow this rule... I take my shoes in the tent. He loves me anyway, though.
I met a new friend! :)

This was right before we took our tent down. :) Good times camping with friends... then we were off to explore New Hampshire! More to come...

I am so thankful that I married such a godly man who loves the Lord with His whole heart. He treats me so special. I am blessed by Him.

Our first camping weekend.

Mark and I went camping a few weeks ago in New Hampshire. It was quite the experience. It was our first time camping together as a couple. Mark had to work late, so we weren't able to leave as early as we would have liked. We weren't able to leave until 6:15.
Our campground closed at 8, so we had to go somewhere else. We set up our camp in the dark. Brand new tent.
We fumbled around in the dark searching for things. A frogs jumping around in the leaves and kept freaking me out. We had smores and hot dogs on a stick, though! Yum, yum.
I had a bad attitude for a while.
Mark liked him "man-chete".

We woke up to it raining. It poured. We packed our tent up in the rain. We were soaked. We weren't even able to eat breakfast.
So, we went to McDonalds.
We took Squirt (the FJ Cruiser) four wheeling! It was AWESOME.
I had a fun weekend with my husband. It was an experience. :) I learned to roll with the flow a little more. We laughed and just enjoyed being married and living in the New England area.
