6 months

Last Monday, I made Mark a yummy meal to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. YAY! I made homemade white bread, shrimp alfredo, and we had red wine and Port Salut cheese. :) Delicious!

I love my husband. :)

1st Thanksgiving!

Psalm 105:1-5

Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name;

make known among the nations what he has done.

Sing to him, sing praise to him,

tell of all his wonderful acts.

Glory in his holy name;

let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Look to the Lord and his strength;

seek his face always.

Mark and I had an incredible Thanksgiving. We just feel so blessed. The Lord really brought it to my attention that Thanksgiving is not about turkey, dressing, and mashed potatoes. It isn't about sleeping in or black Friday. It is a day to be thankful and to praise the Creator. The Lord has been raining His blessings down on us and it was a day to praise Him for all that He has done.

These are just a FEW things that I am abundantly thankful for:
~The Lord's saving work through the cross.
~The Lord's continual blessing and provision for Mark and I
~My incredible husband who I love more than I ever dreamed possible
~Sherm and how he makes us laugh
~amazing family and friends

We had a great time hanging out with Jono and Ashley and the Morse family. What a blessing to be surrounded by these people! We so wish we lived closer to Jono and Ashley! We ate yummy food and had great conversation. :) Sherman also enjoyed running around and exploring the new place.


I am so thankful for this day to be with my sweet husband and spend surrounded by people who radiate the Lord's love. :)

Trust in the journey

The Lord has me on a journey. I don't know where He is taking me. All I know is that He has a purpose and a destination. He wants me to take one step at a time and to trust and believe that His plan is perfect. :)

Psalm 62:8

Trust in Him at all times, O people;

pour out your hearts to him,

for God is our refuge.

My husband makes me smile.

I love my husband. He makes me laugh like no one else. I am so blessed by him. He makes me feel so beautiful and loved all of the time. He does the dishes for me, makes the bed, opens the doors for me (dad- you would be proud!), treats me tenderly, and goes out of his way to show me he loves me. I am one blessed girl.
